Sacred Avalon Candle – Purple

Enter the mists with our Sacred Avalon Candle, an original Ivy Moon design inspired not by a single Goddess, but by Avalon itself.

The rich purple, violet and rose tones of the central figure give this candle an unmistakably mystical quality. At its heart sits the spiral, representing journey, transformation, inner wisdom and the paths that lead us away from the familiar and towards something deeper.

Avalon occupies a unique place within British myth, spirituality and modern Pagan imagination: an otherworldly island beyond the mist, associated with mystery, apples, healing, pilgrimage, renewal and the meeting place between ordinary landscape and sacred story.

Unlike the seasonal Goddess candles in the Ivy Moon collection, the Sacred Avalon Candle is deliberately deity-free. There is no named Lady of Avalon attached to it and no Goddess you are required to invoke. Avalon itself is the focus.

This makes it particularly versatile for Avalon-inspired ritual, meditation, spiritual journeying, divination, inner work, pilgrimage preparation, altar work and personal reflection. It is equally beautiful simply displayed within an Avalon, Glastonbury, witchcraft or Pagan-inspired sacred space.

Hand designed and crafted by Ivy Moon, the white pillar candle offers an approximate 45-hour burn time, allowing it to accompany longer periods of meditation and spiritual practice.

The Sacred Avalon Candle sits slightly apart from our Wheel of the Year Goddess collection, a purple flame beyond the seasonal circle, honouring the mystery and enduring pull of Avalon.
