Location & privacy
The astronomy itself is calculated in your browser. If you use exact location, a free client-side place-name service receives the coordinates once so it can return a readable locality name. If you use place search, the text you search is sent to OpenStreetMap's Nominatim service. Ivy Moon has no server here. Your selected coordinates are saved only in this browser so the Almanac can remember your sky on your next visit.
