Lammas Goddess Candle – Yellow
Details
Celebrate the first harvest with our Lammas Goddess Candle, hand designed and crafted by Ivy Moon as part of our seasonal Wheel of the Year collection.
Its warm yellow Spiral Goddess design reflects ripened grain, late-summer sunlight and the abundance of the land at the beginning of harvest. The Goddess stands with arms lifted while the spiral at her centre symbolises life, continuity and the cycles through which seed becomes crop, crop becomes nourishment and the harvest carries life onward into another year.
Created especially for Lammas and Lughnasadh, this candle makes a wonderful focal point for rituals of gratitude, prosperity, abundance, accomplishment and giving thanks for what has come to fruition. It can also be used when considering your own personal harvest: the projects, relationships, lessons and intentions that have grown since the beginning of the year.
Goddesses you may choose to honour at this season include Tailtiu, Carman, Anu, Nás and Bui, drawing upon the traditions and mythologies associated with the land, sovereignty, gatherings and harvest within Ireland.
Place it upon a Lammas altar alongside grain, bread, herbs, seasonal flowers or the first fruits of the harvest, or use it as a dedicated ritual candle during meditation, spell work and seasonal celebration.
Offering an approximate 45-hour burn time, it can accompany the whole Lammas period rather than disappearing before you've even finished the bread. A minor but important victory.
Our Ivy Moon Sabbat candles have become hugely popular with Pagans, witches and spiritual practitioners looking for beautiful, meaningful ways to celebrate the Wheel of the Year.
